Lansing Oar and Paddle Club | LOAPC

Interested in canoeing and kayaking in mid-Michigan? Join LOAPC!

Click here for a calendar of all LOAPC events on Meetup (free – registration required to view).

Our Meetup is free to join, and we’ll keep you in the loop on upcoming club events so you can get to know us. Non-members are free to participate in Club events as long as they sign our waiver of liability and agree to wear a life jacket while on the water and practice safe paddling.

Membership dues are $10 per year, payable in January and good for the entire year. We hope you’ll like us so much that you’ll want to become a dues-paying member and support paddling in Mid-Michigan.

To become a member, you need to do 2 things:
(1) Fill out our membership form/trip waiver and either mail it to the address at the bottom, or give it to a club officer or committee chair, and
(2) Pay your dues: either enclose a check for $10 payable to LOAPC with your membership form, or pay online via PayPal.

LOAPC is a 501(c)(4) non-profit corporation formed in 1987 to promote interest in all aspects of human-powered watercraft in the mid-Michigan area. LOAPC has been actively involved in the greater Lansing community on river clean-ups and river-related projects. For the past 25 years, LOAPC has provided opportunities for people interested in canoeing and kayaking to meet other people with the same interests and grow and develop their sport.
