It's paddling weather!
We've changed the schedule on a few of our upcoming trips, so if you haven't clicked on "Calendar" to your left lately, check it out.
Summit Sports is holding a series of kayak demo days at Lake Lansing all summer. This store has been a great supporter of LOAPC and we encourage you to consider them if you're in the market for a kayak or canoe--or if you just want to try some new boats. Call 517-332-4000 for their demo day schedule.
Some club members have started paddling at Lake Lansing on Monday nights. This is not an official club event, so everyone is responsible for their own safety. Currently we are launching from the north boat ramp at 7 p.m., but we will be moving to the south beach park at 6:30 p.m. after August 1 to accommodate the shorter days.
Dues-paying members will receive the summer newsletter around July 31. Deadline for sumissions to the next issue is September 10.
If you'd like to join the club, click "join" to your left, download the club registration/waiver form, fill it out, and mail it to our PO box (see bottom of this page) with a check for $10 made payable to LOAPC.

SUMMER IS HERE
AND LOAPC IS OUT PADDLING
SCHEDULE CHANGES:
The 9th Annual Family Trip has been relocated to the Au Sable River on August 23-24, 2008.
The September Canadian Wilderness trip has been rescheduled to September 10-11 at Flack Lake Loop, Ontario, Canada.
